The downloadable files below show the line up for April 2026. As the growing season starts in earnest, there are Open Days/Spring Fairs at TWIGS (19 April) and King William St School (22 April), as well as a range of other gardening related activities, plant sales and talks through the month.
There are numerous volunteering opportunities around these activities, of course, and such involvement can be very fulfilling. Volunteering extends far beyond digging and hoping; many garden clubs actively seek new committee members. SALGA is looking for volunteers to assist in their shop at Pickards Field which is a lovely way of meeting fellow growers! Many community groups would welcome social media help, coordinators or event planners.
