Swindon Allotments and Leisure Gardens Association (SALGA) is open to all Swindonians who are interested in growing things. It doesn’t matter whether you have a garden or not – some of our members live in flats, and get great satisfaction growing plants on their windowsills or balconies. At the other end of the scale, there are those with allotment plots and full scale vegetable patches. Wherever you fit into this, joining SALGA means you can benefit from the shop at Pickards Field, our annual seed ordering scheme, and the monthly talks on all things horticultural. And, last but not least, SALGA’s Horticultural Show, which takes place at the beginning of September each year. a local gardening club with several hundred members in the Swindon area.

Our objective is the advancement of education in horticulture and to promote, encourage and improve horticulture by the holding of horticultural shows, competitions, meetings, lectures, discussions, demonstrations and running allotment gardens.

SALGA is a registered charity, no. 1138814.
